The My Collection of Poetry: The Seasons of Life series tells the story of Aaron Brown in the form of the soulful expression of his life journey through poetry. Growing up in the Davis County Co-operative Society, or DCCS, a cooperative community that slowly closed off and became driven by fear of loss and making mistakes, Aaron experienced a cultural conditioning to silence his voice and emotional expression to the leadership and community pain and sufferings. These works share his journey of re-claiming his voice as he dared to speak the buried words of his heart and soul to discover healing, personal power, and the most universally asked question of all….Who Am I?

What began as a longing to understand forbidden emotional honesty and freedom, became an adventure all it's own.
